Arrival (check-in) instructions

Dear Workshop participants,
We look forward to having you join us! Your check in is any time after 4:00 pm with checkout any time before 10:00 am. Our Housing & Conference Service Centre, located in room 124 on the main level of the Commons Building (building #28 on the campus map) will look after your check in/out and is available 24 hrs/day to answer any questions you may have during your stay. At check in, you will receive your room key which is enclosed in a key wallet that will also include your meal card and your parking pass, if you have requested one for your stay. Also included will be your “MAC ID” which will allow you to gain access to the WIFI in your residence. Please keep your meal card handy as you will need to present it at the Centro dinner scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2014, and please keep in mind there is a $10.00 replacement fee should the card be lost. Your continental breakfast on Aug 14, 15, 16, and 17 will be setup in Room 223 in the Les Prince Residence (building #53 on the campus map).
The conference will be held in room 117 of the Burke Sciences Building (BSB).
A special note about our parking system: You will receive a ticket at the gate when arriving at the parking lot, which will allow you to gain entrance into the lot. However, the ticket you receive with your check-in key wallet, will replace this one and can be used during your stay to allow you in/out privileges throughout your stay. When you put it in the first time you leave, it will lift the bar and eject the ticket. Remember to take the ticket as you’ll need to use it again to gain entrance back into the lot when you return. (Again, it will lift the bar and eject the ticket for you to use at your next exit). You don’t have to keep the original ticket you receive on your first entry into the lot.
